Bank has started a Joint Venture Insurance Company “Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Company Limited”. The new JV insurance company was launched on 16th of June 2008. In the JV insurance company, Canara bank has a stake of 51%, HSBC Insurance (Asia Pacific) Holdings Ltd 26% and Oriental bank of Commerce 23%. We also act as a Corporate Agent of Our JV Company.
