Salient Features
As per the Industry Level Settlement, it has been proposed to extend one more option for Pension,
to those employees who did not opt for pension earlier. The following categories of employees /
spouse of deceased employee are eligible to exercise the option;
- Employees who were in the services of the Bank prior to 29.09.1995, did not opt for pension and had retired on superannuation after that date.
- Employee who was in service of Bank prior to 29.09.1995, did not opt for pension and had
died while in service, after that date – Family of the deceased can opt for pension;
- Employees who were in service of the Banks prior to 29.09.1995, retired from service of
the Banks after that date and not alive – Family of the deceased can opt for pension.
- SVRS 2000 optees.
A detailed circular has been issued by the Bank and the requests for Pension option should be
given with in 60 days. i.e. on or before 19.10.2010
