Caution Notice – Fraud Alert

It has come to our attention that certain individuals / ad-agencies are contacting job aspirants promising employment in Canara Bank on false pretext either directly through advertisements, websites, or indirectly through agencies. These agencies / individuals are reportedly seeking personal information and / or money in order to process the application. It is brought to the notice of all concerned that Canara Bank does not solicit of applications either through agencies or through middlemen and Canara Bank has never issued or published any information / advertisement on any private website or recruiting agency or in any media.

At present the recruitment in Canara Bank is being done through IBPS or by the Bank directly. Canara Bank has not appointed any private Agent / Agency / Individuals to make / issue offers of employment / benefits on its behalf. All career opportunities are published with Bank’s official website and directly advertised in leading dailies / Employment News for the information of all.

Further, Canara Bank does not send any e-mail correspondence relating to employment from free web based email accounts such as Gmail, Ymail, Hotmail, Rediffmail and so on.
